WoundAssist

AI-assisted wound documentation for care teams.

Clinical pilot preparation

Wound documentation should not cost your evenings.

Wound care lives on documentation - and documentation is exactly where care teams lose time. Assessments vary from person to person, photos end up unstructured in folders, and comparing a wound to how it looked three weeks ago means digging through records.

WoundAssist turns a wound photo into a structured, standardised assessment that a qualified professional reviews and confirms. Over time, that consistency becomes the real value: healing progression you can see, deterioration you catch early, and records that hold up in an audit.

Consistent records. Earlier signals. Full accountability.

Structured Assessment From a Photo

A guided capture flow checks image quality and produces a standardised tissue assessment for the clinician to review - the same structure, every time, regardless of who documents.

Clinician Verification Built In

Every AI-assisted assessment is confirmed or corrected by a qualified professional before it enters the record. The software supports decisions - it never makes them.

Healing Progression at a Glance

Visual timelines and size trends per wound make progress - or deterioration - visible without leafing through past reports.

Clinical Alerts

Overdue assessments and negative trends are flagged to the care team, with thresholds the supervising clinician configures.

Bilingual by Design

German and English interfaces with clinical vocabulary appropriate for professional care teams in the DACH region.

Audit-Ready

Role-based access for admins, supervisors and nurses, plus a complete audit trail of every data access and change - built for accountability from day one.

Where WoundAssist stands today.

WoundAssist is developed for the European regulatory environment from the ground up. It is currently offered as a decision-support tool for healthcare professionals, in evaluation with pilot partners. It is not yet CE-marked as a medical device; we are actively pursuing the EU-MDR pathway with specialised regulatory advisors, and every processing step is designed around GDPR.

We believe that is the honest way to bring AI into care: professional oversight on every record, transparent maturity, and compliance treated as an engineering requirement.

Pilot partners and clinical advisors wanted.

We are preparing pilots with outpatient wound-care services, home-care providers, care homes and clinics in the DACH region - and we are equally interested in experienced wound-care professionals who want to shape the product as clinical advisors.

Write to contact@tavlo.tech and tell us about your care setting - we will get back to you within two business days.
